Mental Health Evaluations for Immigration Cases

I’m trained in culturally-responsive mental health immigration evaluation interviewing and forensic report writing through Georgia King’s program. I conduct clinically thorough, trauma-informed, and objective assessments designed to meet the standards attorneys and USCIS reviewers expect.

My approach centers the intersectionality of trauma, migration stress, and held identities—particularly for BIPOC/PGM and LGBTQIA+ clients—and uses trauma-informed interviewing and clear, well-organized reports that support legal strategies while honoring each person’s full story with nuance, care, and respect.

I provide evaluations for:

  • Asylum-related cases

  • Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions

  • T-Visa & U-Visa applications

  • Extreme hardship waivers (I-601/I-601A)

  • Cancellation of removal proceedings

  • Ohio Residents

  • Minnesota Residents

What I bring to the evaluation process:

  • Balanced trauma-informed and humanistic clinical approach

  • Strong experience in trauma-informed interviewing and report writing

  • Clear, well-organized reports built to support legal cases

  • Reliable 1-2 week turnaround for attorneys and clients working against filing deadlines

  • Accessible telehealth delivery via a HIPAA-compliant platform, with professional interpretation available as needed for non-native English-speaking clients.

Turnaround: Approximately 1-2 weeks
Fee: $1,100 with payment plans available upon request
Payment: Credit cards accepted; payment plans and sliding scale may be available; pro bono may be available

I understand these evaluations carry real weight in a person's life and future. My goal is to produce evaluations that are thorough, ethical, and true to each client's experience while meeting the objective and legal standards required for immigration cases.
