Together, we will address the painful experiences and systemic challenges that impact your mental health, helping you move through anxiety, depression, and trauma toward a place of deeper self-understanding.

My approach is grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I provide a warm, non-judgmental environment where we can explore how your past experiences and current environment shape your well-being. Depression & Dissatisfaction

Navigating the heavy fog of depression, feeling “stuck”, or a general sense that your life or work/career isn't aligned with who you truly are.

Purpose & Identity

Supporting you through seasons of questioning your purpose, stripping away societal and/or other external expectations, and removing those “should” internalized messages to help you find and reconnect with your authentic self.

Trauma & Resilience

Healing from past wounds and systemic challenges while supporting your innate capacity to grow and move forward. I utilize a blend of EMDR therapy, coping and grounding skills, and traditional talk therapy techniques to best support you while we unhook you from those traumatic, complex, and heavy chains restricting you.

Because trauma, especially complex trauma, can be so complex and deeply intwined with identity, we will move at a level of pace that is: (1) comfortable for you and your nervous system, and (2) helps you reclaim your time so that the rest of your life isn’t taken by the trauma.

Anxiety & Navigating Stress

Moving from survival mode and constant worry torwards thriving (and yes, that was intentional).

The overarching goal is to help shift you toward a place of groundedness in your sense of self, self-regulation, self-esteem, and self-confidence. We will identify the origins of your anxiety and stress, what keeps it in place, the tools that have worked or not worked, and create a plan that does works.

Preparing for EMDR Therapy: Resourcing & Regulation

Before we dive into the deep work of reprocessing, we will focus heavily on “resourcing”. This is to equip you with a customized toolkit of grounding techniques and coping skills designed specifically for your nervous system. Our goal is to ensure you feel stable, safe, and fully capable of regulating your emotions both during and after our EMDR sessions.

Neurodivergent-Affirming Care: ADH(D) & Beyond

I provide specialized support for the ADH(D), Autistic, AuDH(D), and other ND brain by moving beyond “one-size-fits-all” solutions and working with you and your neurotype to tailor our sessions. We will work together to navigate the systemic stress of living in a world built around neurotypical standards, while focusing on neurodivergent-informed assessment and diagnosis, personalized treatment, and the identification of specific supports and accommodations that advocate for your needs.

Intersectionality-Centered Therapy: Honoring Your Story

I utilize an intersectionality framework that recognizes how your race, gender, sexuality, and other held identities overlap to shape your world, both internally and externally. By honoring the unique nuances of your story, we ensure that your lived experiences are the foundation of our work, allowing you to heal without the burden of explaining your held identities.

  2. Step 2: The Intake Session: In our first full meeting, we’ll dive deeper into your story. We’ll discuss your goals for therapy and what “healing” looks like for you personally.

  3. Step 3: Collaborative Sessions: We meet regularly (typically weekly or bi-weekly) via Sessions Health, a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Each session is a step forward on that winding path above.

  4. Step 4: Integration & Reflection: Periodically, we will pause to look back at your progress, celebrate your resilience, and adjust our “map” as your needs evolve.
