Professional Services: Supervision & Consultation

The shift from clinician to colleague is an elevation of your practice. While therapy is about navigating the winding path of the forest, supervision and consultation are about reaching the summit together—gaining the perspective needed to see the clinical landscape with clarity and confidence.

I provide a grounded and affirming space for Ohio LPCs, CTs, and EMDR trained clinicians to sharpen their skills. Together, we’ll bridge the gap between clinical theory and application with trauma-informed practices, identity and neuro-affirming care, ensuring you feel supported as you lead your clients toward healing.

Clinical Supervision

The purpose of clinical supervision is to assist the Supervisee in developing and refining their clinical skills, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards, and providing professional support. I provide training supervision as required by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board (CSWMFT).

Who I Work With

  • Training Supervision: Counselor Trainees (CTs), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), and LPCCs working toward their supervision designation.

  • Work Supervision: Non-training supervision for Licensed Social Workers (LSWs) and Marriage & Family Therapists (MFTs) focused on case consultation or workplace development.

Rates & Accessibility

  • Individual Supervision: $75 per hour

  • Group Supervision: $40 per hour

Equity Pricing: Reduced rates and limited pro bono slots are available for BIPOC clinicians and early-career professionals for Individual Supervision. Please reach out to inquire.

My Approach

Supervision with me is supportive, collaborative, and culturally grounded. We will explore how held identities, power, and systemic issues show up for you and your clients. You will feel grounded in the ACA Code of Ethics and Ohio law while developing your own clinical intuition and voice.

EMDR Consultation

For clinicians who have completed an EMDRIA-approved foundational training or those seeking Certification, I offer consultation focused on deepening your confidence with the 8-phase protocol and cognitive interweaves, and integrate trauma-informed care into your practice with flexibility and skill to address more complex cases. My goal is to help you move beyond the “script” and into an authentic, trauma-informed application of the AIP model.

Consultation Disclaimer and EMDRIA Guidelines:

  • Consultation is provided under the mentorship of EMDRIA Approved Consultant Thomas Zimmerman, LPCC.

  • Per EMDRIA guidelines: A Consultant-in-Training™ (CIT) can provide up to 15 of the 20 consultation hours required for EMDRIA Certification™.

  • The remaining 5 hours must come from an EMDRIA Approved Consultant™.

  • If you'd like to use my approved consultant, Thomas Zimmerman, he will require that you do at least 5 hours of consultation with him prior to writing the letter of recommendation for certification.

  • Individual Consultation: $75 per hour​​​.

  • Group Consultation: $60 per two hour group.

Speciality Focus

While I welcome a range of consultation topics, my primary clinical specialty includes complex traumas—specifically sexual traumas, childhood abuse/neglect, and sexual assault.
